Ran 6.5 km this morning before work for my first marathon run and 7.5 km after work for my weekly hill run with my boss. I can’t stop my 2 weekly runs with my boss and then my husband in the evenings because they really challenge me.
Il probably stop doing the extra runs with them in month 2 of the 3 month training schedule but for now 2 days a week will have 2 short runs a day!
Feeling good about my intake too.

1.) I’m starting a 16 week marathon training schedule with the Nike Running App tomorrow and I intend to stick to it. I got up to 30k or 20 miles last summer by myself but I think I need some structured guidance to get to full marathon distance by the 2nd week of November.
2.) I’m aiming for 1 pound a week weight loss throughout the training programme, no more. When I train I lose weight rapidly so this will help me keep on the slow and steady and adjusting intake to make sure it’s not more than this.
By November if I get to both of the above goals then I get to go on a massive shopping trip!
